EXPRESSIVE MOVEMENT
Take 2 (Moms and Daughters)                  

30 minute class Times vary by age group

Hey Moms, don't miss our new class that allows you to experience dance with your favorite stars, your kids!  Class fee is 2 for 1!  Taught by current captain for R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.      

Student registration is $115 for 10 weeks  (mom goes free) from Sept 22-Jan 13

Toddler Tunes 2-3 yrs with Caregiver            
Wed 4:00-4:30 

This is a FUN high-energy class for both you and your child.   Enjoy moving and grooving to toddler tunes, walking like the animals, yoga movements and balancing too.

Student registration is $115 for 10 weeks from Sept 22-Jan 13

 

Radio Disney Remix 6-8 yrs                      
Wednesday 6:30-7:25

Move and Groove to your favorite Radio Disney Music; featuring Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers and more!.  This class focuses on self-expression through dance movements  to the songs kids know and love.  Taught by current co captain of the R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.

 

Boppin' Broadway 9-13 yrs                      
Wednesday 4:30-5:25

Watch your little diva take the stage!  Learn theatrical dance moves to show stopping hits..  This class will focus on the excitement of performing and work on the skill of expression through movement.  This class is great for those interested in Musical Theatre.  Taught by a former Broadway performer, Miss Lauren.

 

 

DANCE TECHNIQUE
Disney Dance I 3-4 yrs   

Thursday 4:00-4:30

This class is an introductory class of tap and ballet.  It will focus on the beginner Tap steps and the basic Ballet French Terminology thru fun-filled song and dance routines that help to create an exciting class experience.  Taught by R-Phils Dance Team Captain, Miss Allie. 

 

Disney Dance II 5-6 yrs              
Thursday 4:30-5:15

This class will expand on the tap, ballet skills learned in Disney Dance I.  It will focus on the beginner Tap steps and  the basic Ballet French Terminology thru fun-filled song and dance routines.  The students will also be exposed to basic Jazz and Hip-Hop dance moves to create an exciting class experience. Taught by R-Phils Dance Team Captain, Miss Allie.

 JAZZ

Jazzy Hip-Hoppers I 6-8 yrs                                  

Thursday 5:30-6:30
Introductory practice of jazz technique combined with fresh and basic Hip-Hop choreography.  This class will encompass the many forms of jazz and hip-hop.   Taught by current R-Phils Dancer, Miss Allie.

Jazz I 6-8 yrs                                  

Thursday 5:30-6:30
This class is designed as an introduction to a true jazz technique class.  It will focus on basic jazz positions and turns.  Students will also learn center and locomotor progressions as well as proper stretching techniques to enhance muscular strength and flexibility.  
 

Jazzy Hip-Hoppers II 8-13yrs                                    

Thursday 6:30-7:25
Continued practice of jazz technique combined with fresh and basic Hip-Hop choreography.  This class will encompass the many forms of jazz, hip-hop and funk. Taught by current R-Phils Dancer, Miss Allie.


Jazz II 8-12 yrs  
                                

Thursday 6:30-7:25 
This is an intermediate jazz class designed to augment basic jazz training.  It will continue basic skills leaned in Jazz I, including positions, turns, jumps, & leaps, as well as elements of dance conditioning.  For the serious dancer, it is recommended, but not required, to take a ballet class to compliment jazz training.  

HIP-HOP
Intermediate Hip-Hop 9-13 yrs                                         

Tuesday 5:30-6:25 (Spring semester only)
Students are challenged with fresh Hip-Hop movements, which are also infused with jazz techniques.   Students are encouraged to experience a challenging level of Hip-Hop!   Taught by R-Phils Dance Team Director, Ms. Jen.


Advanced Hip-Hop 13+yrs           

Thursday 7:30-8:25   
Students are challenged with more intricate Hip-Hop movements, which are also infused with jazz techniques.   Students are encouraged to break new boundaries and experience a more challenging level of Hip-Hop!  Taught by R-Phils dancer Miss Allie.


Going Pro Hip-Hop 14yrs and up (Placement Only)                              

Thursday 4:00-4:55 (Spring Semester only)
This class will focus on Pro Dance Court Style Choreography, including Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz and more.  This is a placement only class.  Taught by Ms. Jennie, former NBA Pro dancer!  (Spring semester only!)

 

Co-Ed Hip-Hop 4 All   8-13 yrs                                          
Thursday 6:30-7:30 (Fall Semester only) 

Students are challenged with street style Hip-Hop movements, which are also infused with jazz and funk techniques.   Both boys and girls are encouraged to take this super hot class from R-Phils Dancer Miss Allie



TAP

Tap I 6-8 yrs  
                                

Monday 3:30-4:25 
This class is for the beginner tapper.  They will learn all basic tap skills and focuss on musicality and rhythms.
Taught by R-Phils Dancer, Miss Allie

Tap II 8-11 yrs  
                                

Monday 4:30-5:25 
This class will encompass multiple ability levels and will focus on tap fundamentals including basic tap steps, wings, cramp rolls, & pull backs.  Students will be paired up with students of the same skill level & will progress according to their own prior training and ability.  Taught  
by R-Phils Dancer, Miss Allie 

Teen Tap 12+ yrs  
                                

Thursday 6:30-7:25  
This class will encompass multiple ability levels and will focus on tap fundamentals including basic tap steps, wings, cramp rolls, & pull backs.  Students will progress according to their own prior training and ability.  More advanced students will be given more advanced progressions to suit their personal skill levels.  


BALLET
Beginner Ballet I 6-8 yrs  
                                

Wednesday 5:30-6:25 
In this class, students will be introduced to basic ballet fundamental, including body alignment, vocabulary, and basic positions of the feet and arms.  Taught by current dancer for R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.



Ballet I 9-11 yrs  
                                

Wednesday 6:30-7:25 
This class will be centered on more intermediate dance technique.  Students will move through barre, center work, & progressions which include basic turns, jumps & leaps.  Taught by current dancer for R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.



Int. Lyrical  10-14yrs                       

Wednesday 6:30-7:25  
This class focuses on the foundation of Ballet and Jazz Technique.  It will focus on the use of balance, flexibility, and control utilizing the lyrics or mood of the music.  Taught by current dancer for R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.

This class is based on the foundation of Ballet and Jazz Technique.  It will focus on the use of balance, flexibility, and control utilizing the lyrics or mood of the music.  Students must have 1 full year of lyrical I.  This a placement only class.  Taught by current captain for R-Phils Dance Team, Miss Lauren.


CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary/Modern 12 yrs +                                         

Wednesday 6:30-7:25 
Growing in popularity from "So You Think You Can Dance" this contemporary style focuses on the basic Modern and Contemporary Dance Techniques.  Students will learn Modern and Contemporary dance vocabulary, and basic axial center techniques (changes in balance and discovery of improvisational choreography.)  It uses the control of ballet, but incorporates the limitless creativity of body movement.  Teen Ballet is highly recommended in addition to this class.  

CHEER-DANCE MOVEMENT
Princess Power 3-4 yrs  (Spring Semester only)                                         

Monday 3:00-3:30
Every little princess will love the princess cheers, dance and movement activities included in this class.  Princesses will better their motor development and develop basic cheerleading and dance skills.  Taught by Miss Jenelle


Mini Pro Cheerdance 5-8 yrs

DANCE-FIT                                          

Dance your way to improved physical fitness while shaking that booty! You will love this fun and exciting class featuring ZUMBA, Flirty Girl Fitness, Latin, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Funk and FUN!
